Let's face the facts, Mr. Henderson.

You were told you'd get a shot for beating Franklin.

Instead, you got The Ultimate Fighter.

They gave you Bisping, "counting" on him putting you down so they could hype up a UK contender. Winner was promised a title shot, and you did just that. In impressive fashion.

You welcomed the challenge, mentioned it post fight, and now Anderson Silva calls the shots and says you don't deserve a shot?

It's bullshit Dan and you know it. They need a show to compete with Manny in HBO boxing? Well they better hop to it and get Silva to sign that contract. Or give you a good fight at 205. But don't fight another contender at 185.

I'd pick you 10 times out of 10 to take Marquardt, but let's throw science out for a second. Let's throw out how much better of a fighter you are, and think of the bullshit decisions you've been in. Think of the bullshit decisions other fighters have been in. The possibility of a rib injury happening again. You lose one fight now and they're gonna toss Joe Rogan into your face asking you about, "After everything you've done in the sport, it's been an honor to have you" and giving you the Liddell treatment.

You earned your shot two times in a row now and they expect you to play lap dog and headline another show? Why? So they can fuck you over again and tell you you don't deserve a shot after Marquardt? Or so Marquardt can squeak by a decision with you and get a shot after all your hard work when all he did was knock out some nobody and a BJJ grappler who also wasn't established as a contender?

Silva has no intention of defending his belt and you know it. Might as well go for the belt at 205 and let Dana deal with Anderson being a stubborn kid who doesn't want to play with the other kids. The middle weight division is such a mess, Franklin would actually rather fight Machida than compete in that division any more.

At 205, you were more comfortable and you gave a healthy Rampage the toughest fight of his career. You also KO'd Wanderlei before he was "over the hill". Forrest beat Rampage, sure, but that was an out of shape version of Quinton.

Make a run for 205 and don't let them corner you into playing Silva's rules. Go on MMAWeekly, Sherdog, Yahoo sports and call Silva a coward. Tell him he's afraid to fight you because he knows you weren't in shape the first time you fought him.

By the way, I have a serious man-love crush for you.

I know he probably doesn't check these boards, but it's worth a shot.

Hendo isnt even that big. I think he should stay at 85. Plus, Nate would give Hendo a real good fight and to be honest, Nate deserves it more if you look at what both have done in their past 3 fights. Nate has finishes every fight and against great fighters.

Martin Kampmann, who just moved down to welterweight because he couldn't cut it at middle weight, Wilson Gouveia, who... is Wilson Gouveia... Are bigger wins than Rich Franklin and Michael Bisping?

And how is 6'1" small for 205? The champion is 6'1".

Hendo also has a very strong Greco wrestling background. In fact, it can be argued he's done better at 205 than at 185.

um..Hendo isnt anywhere near 6'1. Hes 5 10 5 11 tops. Kampmann did well at 85 till nate, and is a great fighter. Hendo barely scraped by Franklin and possibly lost that fight. Bisping isnt a top fighter, Wilson is much better. And well, Phalhares isnt a top guy either and Hendo couldnt finish . Nate all finishes= more impressive.

Even the sherdog stats give him as 6'1", they must be wrong.

The thing is Anderson has an elbow injury so it makes more sense for a contender elimination match, i'm more interested in Marquadt Hendo any way because Anderson will just beat him again.Add to the fact there are few fights for him at 205 except maybe Shogun
