Critique my second "Semi-Pro" fight please!

Ok so this is my second english style "semi-pro" rules fight. The commentators got my record wrong towards the start of the vid, they said i was 0-2, but i was actually 1-0 lol.

In England, there are a number of different rule sets (though the NSAC ammy rules are fastly becoming the most popular set, which is awesome, and i am fighting those rules next time) but this fight was "semi-pro". Semi-pro rules allow standing punchs, kicks and knees, but prohibit any strikes to the head of a grounded opponent and prohibit heelhooks and neck cranks. Also, all elbows are prohibited.

Please watch me fight, I am in the white Jaco shorts, I am 18 and am fighting at featherweight.

Thanks in advance.

Sam.

Well, one word : congratulations !

i'll let the more expert sherdoggers analyse your skills because i'm only practicing jujitsu, but you seemed really well rounded to me. especially at your age.
maybe you have a tendency to fold ("bend"? sorry, english is not my language) when your opponent is swarming on you, and it could get you in troubles with knees. actually he got you in the guillotine like that.

Those semi-pro rules seem perfect to develop your skills without taking too much a toll on your body and being brain damaged at 25.

But anyway, congrats again !

Great Fight! you are very good. When you are in the mount going for a triangle, there are ways to shift your weight to keep from being swept. + if you sink it in from the top its very unlikely they are getting out and it is much tighter. A good start would be to learn the "S" mount! Great fight

I'm jealous of your skills at that age man...
Only thing I can come up with is maybe you should tuck your chin just a bit more... other than that; congrats!

Congrats. You got a new fan here.

For advice the folding and mount were covered but my biggest advice is to circle out when you get charged. It takes you out of the pocket and helps avoid take downs. Your punching power deminishes when back peddling and unless you're A. SILVA it's bad.

Your leg kicks looked really good. Solid snap . Your outside/inside combo was great. At only 18be you are very impressive. I look forward to seeing more fights.

Also. Get a mod to give you an ametuer fighter tag. You actually fight so you deserve the recognition.

Congratulations, man. Nice work. Can't hate on that performance at all.
