Attention US Members: Need help with training/accomodation

Hi guys, Katana here. Or Toan Nguyen. Just making this thread and asking if there are any Sherdog members here that could help me out with training and accomodation when I go to the United States later this year as part of my holiday/training period. I am doing this as a way to be inspired and motivated to continue MMA training when I had taken two years off from it because I had to do other things in my life It's kinda sketchy at the moment with planning, but here is what I am looking at doing with some help from my travel agent.


20th-24th Dec 07 : Leave Brisbane, Australia and fly to LA, USA.

26th Dec 07 to 2nd Jan 08 : Go on Contiki Wild Western Tour, celebrate New Year's in Las Vegas.

3rd Jan 08 to 8th Jan 08 : Go on another Contiki tour to New York City.

9th Jan 08 to around 22nd Jan 08 : Go to Minneapolis to meet a friend, and possibly do some MMA training.

23rd Jan 08 to 20th-22nd February : Go to Albuquerque, New Mexico and possibly do some MMA training.

24th February : Go to LA, then take flight home back to Australia.



If any of you guys can help, I thank you very much and owe you one. PM me if that is more appropriate. Once again, this forum is one of the best on the net and many of the people here are amazing. MMA is the greatest game in the world.

Sorry you aren't hitting down here in San Diego, or I'd hook you up at least with a place to stay, although I would actually be out of town during the time you are in LA visiting family. Good luck, I hope you can find a place to train and stay.

Hi guys, Toan here. Whew, just came back from the travel agent, and because today was a USA & Canada travel expo, I had discounts on pretty much all flights, insurance, hotel accomodation and travel expenses. So this is what it looks like now, much, much more clearer and detailed.

23rd Dec 07 : DEPART Brisbane, Aust - 23rd Dec 07 : ARRIVE Taipei, Taiwan

24th Dec 07 : DEPART Taipei, Taiwan - 24th Dec 07 : ARRIVE Los Angeles, USA

(Going from LA to Anaheim, and being a part of the Contiki Western Highlight Tour where I will be in Las Vegas for New Year's).

3rd Jan 08 : DEPART Las Vegas, NV - 3rd Jan 08 : ARRIVE Phoenix, AZ

(Hopefully training with Hans Burnett and team at Drop Zone).

17th Jan 08 : DEPART Phoenix, AZ - 17th Jan 08 : ARRIVE New York City, NY

(Going on another tour, visit Statue of Liberty and World Trade Center Memorial Site).

20th Jan 08 : DEPART New York City, NY - 20th Jan 08 : ARRIVE Minneapolis, MN

(Visit a friend and hopefully do some MMA training).

9th Feb 08 : DEPART Minneapolis, MN - 9th Feb 08 : ARRIVE Albuquerque, NM

(Hopefully do some MMA training).

17th Mar 08 : DEPART Albuquerque, NM - 17th Mar 08 : ARRIVE San Francisco, CA

(Do a visit of the city)

21st Mar 08 : DEPART San Francisco, CA - 22nd Mar 08 : ARRIVE Taipei, Taiwan

22nd Mar 08 : DEPART Taipei, Taiwan - 23rd Mar 08 : ARRIVE Brisbane, Australia.
