If its a real lack of serial killers in the black community because of some reason of brain function, less cultural push to set off a serial killer, or even higher moral standards in this area or if its under-reported in impoverished areas where there is less effective policing or where culturally the suspicious behavior would be less likely to be reported as helping what is considered by much of the black community to be Caucasian authority.

i am pretty sure that serial killers across the glove come from the majority/dominant ethnic group; however i believe that most of us when we hear the term "serial killer" tend to think of one specific stereotypical type of organized serial killer- the smart white guy with a family, goes to church a lot, gets sexual release from killing, etc. whereas in reality there are a few type and then a broad spectrum of subtypes.
actually one thing i've noticed about a lot of people is that they tend to confuse the ted bundy type with the archetype for any kind of fucked up criminal, whereas that's just a very specific type of serial killa.
