I'm with the TS. For all the guy behind him knew, TS could have been about to make a turn off. But most of all, if it's 4am, and no one is on the road, why be a dick and flash your lights etc when you can just 'undertake' in the 'wrong' lane just as easily? Road etiquette like that is reserved for when it's busy, and practical. If it's dead it's meaningless. If you're already breaking the law speeding, I don't see why you'd be against 'undertaking' someone at 4am in the morning ... I do it all the time, much easier than being a dick about it.
