I just have to vent about some asshole today on the road when I was on my way to work.
Some jeep pulled up behind me on the highway this morning and started riding my ass. I was going 65 and the speed limit was 55. But this fucker wanted to go faster, so he shined his brights on me, then did it again, then left them on. There was another lane to move into, so if this fucker wants to go more than 10 MPH over the speed limit, then he's going to have to get in the other lane and do it, it's not my fuckin job to allow this guy to go 90 or whatever the fuck in a 55. There were no other cars on the road cause it's 4 in the morning so this fucker was just being a dick.
I had to get over to the right lanes anyway, but at this point I was staying in the same lane out of spite. Eventually he speeds up in front of me and slows down, so I immediately move over. Which is something he could've done from the beginning. I roll down my window to show him my middle finger, then take my exit.
People have some fuckin audacity on the road. I'm gonna get a gun and next time that happens I'm shooting out some tires. Or at least some rocks to toss at the piece of shit.

So do people actually submit to assholes who ride their ass and shine their brights at them? Does it ever work, or do they just piss the person off and make them do what I did? Cause I don't see the point of trying to bully someone into doing something you want them to do, cause most of them time, they're going to do the opposite, like I did, just for you having the gall to try to bully them.

Thats what I was going to get at but just wanted to clarify.

Im not saying Jeepman should be going 80mph, but then again I dont think ppl should sit in that lane unless they are going faster than everyone else or are passing. Meh

People that ride your ass when you're already doing 5-10 over the limit are assholes. Signal, take the other lane, and pass me. If there's no other lane, tough shit, I could be going ten under the limit.

I would say at 4 in the morning, the need for a passing lane isn't there... it sounds as if the roads were wide open. I could understand if it were rush hour.

Were you in the far left lane? If so....you should have moved one lane to your right so the Jeep could pass.

Not a written law or anything....just common highway courtesy. In the far left lane, its the slower drivers responsibility to yield to faster traffic.
