According to MMAJunkie.com, EA Sports announced today that Strikeforce will be the dominant brand in its new MMA videogame, "EA Sports MMA," due out next year. While the agreement is not exclusive, the game will be heavily branded with the Strikeforce influence. This will include logos on the cage mat and the voices Frank Shamrock and Mauro Ranallo. It was also announced that Brett Rogers, Jake Shields and Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal will join Fedor Emelianenko and Randy Couture on the "EA Sports MMA" roster.

EA Sports has been developing the title for the two years. The game will play on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 but will not be available on Nintendo's Wii when it's introduced. Dale Jackson, EA Sports' executive producer of the MMA title also stated that the authenticity of each fighter's unique fighting style and movements differentiates the game from other MMA titles. Also, the company has spent a lot of time customizing individual fighter movements in an effort to deliver real fight play.

Fedor 1st round sub over Rogers
Miller over Shields by UD
Soko over Mousasi by 1st round KO
Werdum over Silva by UD

You're not the only one rooting for Sokoudjou. I think the guy's been unfairly written off to this point. His main problem has been his cardio and thats the easiest problem to remedy when you're really commited to making it as a fighter. A loss for Mousasi at this point isn't really too damaging to his career when you consider he's even younger than Sokoudjou and he'd still be champion if he lost since this is non-title.

I'm also pulling for Brett tonight. I love Fedor and he's the greatest of all time, but this is Brett's one real shot at the top and coming from where he did working at a wholesale club(been there) and pulling himself out of it I have to root for the guy. He said to himself, "There's gotta be a better way" and he found it. On the downside we'd have to hear Dana White's bullshit about how Fedor would never have been able to cut it in the UFC, etc. etc., he lost to nobody(even though that nobody beat one of your champs Dana).

My heart wants to see Brett and Sokoudjou win. My head says neither is happening.

i want to see rogers connect solid with the first punch thrown and end this strikeforce/m1global foolishness.
