The most butchered version of a song (cover or sample).

-P Diddy sampling "Kashmir" for "Come With Me".

-Any rapper who does a cover of Phil Collins "In The Air Tonight".

It's always the damn rappers ruining everything they touch. Look what they did to Burberry clothing (not that I wore that stuff or anything )

You were right about Puffy having a hand in the worst ever, but got the song wrong. This is it, and made worse by Sting's fucking co-starring role in it.

Sean Kingston stealing D'yer Maker (the music and most of the lyrics; definitely the chorus) and not crediting Zeppelin at all.

Just a straight theft. Records D'yer Maker, changes one or two small things about the song, then calls it "Me Love" and makes a shitload of money.

Fuck that guy.

Yeah, I had no idea just how much of their stuff was DIRECTLY ripped off from other artists until I heard that guy on the Stern Show with all the audio clips and examples. Some shit was even lifted from struggling bands who had opened for them, like in the case of Stairway To Heaven, which had a lot of stuff in it that was lifted from the song Taurus by the band Spirit.

If you check the liner notes from their old stuff, it almost all says "Plant/Page". Since a lawsuit that they settled on the hush, the albums that come out now will have the names of the original songwriters alongside Plant and Page.

Haha, my favorite part of the Led Zepplin plagiarism story is that Dazed and Confused was originally written by a guy who ended up writing songs for commercials, the most famous of which is "Be All That You Can Be", which was in Army recruitment ads.
