I personally like his language. Some of the melodramatic techniques he uses to get emotion across are of his time and can look stodgy today (especilly to young people unused to archaic speech patterns), but artistic styles had to evolve from somewhere, and over the centuries he's held up pretty well.
QFT... there is a reason that pretty much every highschooler has to read several of his plays.
