hair loss and rogaine

Anyone try Rogaine/generic minoxidil ?

Is it for real? I have a buddy who's on Propecia, which is working for him, but I've heard a lot about side effects and don't want to try it.

I want to try Rogaine--has anyone else tried it? or anything else that either works or doesnt work ?

I tried it in the past and it seemed to work. My wife noticed a difference. But the stuff sorta dries your scalp.

I didn't want the hassle of using that shit twice a day-everyday anymore, so I just had to Man Up and shave my head.

Never tried it. I've shaved my head for 15 years and wish my hair would fall out. Go any solution to speed up balding?

I heard propecia works well. Supposedly it stops the hair loss process and a good percentage have some new growth. The downside is it is not covered by insurance and costs round 100 a month. To make it worse once you stop using it the process accerates like you never used it in the first place. Rogaine only works on the front of the head not on the back. Thats all.

I heard Rogaine only works on the crown, not on the hairline....

I've heard Propecia works best but has potentially awful side effect, inc. impotence and gyno

my brother tried everything and was bald by the time he was 24. luckily for me i wont be bald till im like 35 or 45 and im never trying any of that stuff.

yeah it sucks going bald im 26 and it feels like my hair is in a race to see which one falls out the fastest sucks seems like everyday about 15-20 pieces just fall out
