If "thou" in this instance is the morality of Hollywood (which it is), and any who swear by its unquestionable esteem, then yes... I am holier-than-thou. Sorry.
You said I was "on my high horse" for attacking the morals of showbiz. SHOWBIZ.
That indicated to me, that you don't think a 'lowly' person like me is 'worthy' of criticizing the Honorable Esteemed Gold Standard of Unquestionable Morality, "SHOWBIZ".
At which time, I felt sorry for you in assuming that you must view yourself this way as well.

irresponsible and dishonorable? well for what you lack in any common sense you make up for in hyperbole. i also didn't state you were on your high horse because you questioned the morals of showbiz, question whatever you want just realize that you sound like a fucking self important idiot. also how fucking lame is it to claim moral superiority over a tv show, if you're this lofty and important put your big mouth to work somewhere useful instead of running your gums about a show.

The reality of all of the soldiers dying, the civilians dying, the politicians here in the States making decisions as we speak which affect all of these things... I think making a fictional show for entertainment is really, really irresponsible and disgustingly parasitic.

Good points, and even though I'm going to seem hypocritical I agree with the second paragraph especially. I don't mean to trivialise the situation with the politics aside comment, my bad, it's true you can't really do that. Well sir, if I may correct myself on it's technical merits it's an awesome show.
I understand how you feel, as I replied to strangelov earlier I realise a lot of you Americans are sick of hearing about it. Bad insight on my behalf, wherever forum this went in, it would have garnered some passionate replies about the war not the show.

Yeah, I try to, and I will continue to, but man... responsibility and honor, "hyperbole"?
These words have meaning.
It shouldn't be attacked as "self-important" to bring these things up. All things we do should fit within their realm, and be matched up against them.
