I saw the first episode and I quite liked it, very gritty and great writing like The Wire.

I thought the wire was meh. I haven't really watched the show though.
GK sounds interesting, but I'm probably gonna hate that too. I'm suck a fucking picky asshole.

I watched 5 seasons The Wire from start to finish in about 3 weeks 
I generally despise rap and ghetto/gangster shiznit but I'd rate The Wire as one of the best TV series ever.
I guess a lot of you Americans are sick of hearing about the war, but if you like war/military related shows/movies you gotta give it a go. __________________

I do like war movies, but I'm just not feeling anything modern right. Especially a witty war series based in Iraq. There's nothing funny about that place and how much money we've wasted there. __________________
