An email from Joey of the Real World: Hollywood

Unlike every other e-mail I sent you, I hope you post this one assh*le. This is a message to all my family, friends and fans that have supported me through this whole process. As you saw last night this has been a difficult year for me. I have had a lot of emotional issues and demons that I have had to deal with. As I look back over my life I believe my recent set back has been a result of two major factors: 1) my abuse of illegal substances and alcohol which I have no one but myself to blame and 2) my weight lifting accident where I tried to bench 325 over 15 times with no spotter which resulted in me sustaining a serious injury to my face and head. I have read the comments people have left on this site and for those who wonder how the weight landed on my head, I was trying to slide out from underneath the bench once I realized it was to heavy and I was hoping the weight would fall behind my head, but it didn’t. Since then I have had vision issues, headaches and at times I lash out like an incredible hulk. But deep down I wish I was more like his alter ego David Banner: calm, cool and collected. But the constant headaches and pressure of this “hulk” in me has driven me to the edge. Because of all the recent events that have taken place in my life I have decided it is best if I just go away. I thought going on this show and meating new people could help me change my life for the better, but it has only made it worse. The world is a tough place and as the old saying goes when the going gets tough, the tough get going. So I will get going because I am tough.
