This Is BOOLSHIT... Printer Wont Print Money

So ive got a high quality scanner ($250), and a high quality printer ($700),
so i figured id have a go at printing some "home made" cash and play a prank on a buddy of mine...

The cash scanned in fine, extremely detailed, so i saved it and tried to print it... and here is where the trouble started...
it seems that Canon have taken it upon themselves to programme some type of security feature into the printer that somehow detects that the user is trying to print money, and so it just aborts the print totally and the paper just shoots straight out blank.

This is complete boolshit, my reason for wanting to print money is totally harmless, but these fuckers have denied me my right to do so.

If anyone knows how to get around this, please let me know.

Obviously im not trying to pass these off as real notes, as that would be a crime.

Also while im here, i migth as well ask if anyone has any experience with foiling machines, custom watermarking & hologram making?

Printing it is a crime regardless of intent to use.

you should have got some high quality rope and made a high quality noose and attached it to a high quality rafter in your basement and stood on a high quality chair and jumped off. At least then we wouldn't have had to deal qith this high quality thread.
