Do you honestly think people change their votes week to week? They have a favorite that they stick with until they're voted off or go all the way. I know I don't change from week to week. Simon acts like it makes a difference if they do badly or not this far into the competition. People have made their picks long ago. __________________

I think American Idol is a work. In the first couple, it may not have been that bad, but now I think it's rigged from the top 24. They (the producers) may take out a popular contestant to start a "voting panic" so they can get alot more people to call, resulting in more money.

not that i'm on there voting, but it should just be from week to week, imo it's a body of work. that being said, archuletta has never really had a bad week. call it what you will song choice or him being helped out by the themes but there has never been a question that he has had one of the best weeks. that being said is he teh best singer? no. but it's not just a singing competition, or they'd still be singing with just a mic in a small room __________________
