This is a classic Spurs fan comment. They are more concerned with Arsenal failing than themselves suceeding. This stems from intense jealousy because of Arsenals success over the last 10 years. A lot of my family are Spurs fans unfortunately.

I have a couple of moments that stand out for me. Internationally I would go with Beckham scoring the penalty against Argentina at the 2002 world cup. After having been sent off four year previous against the Argies it was such a sweet moment for him to score the winner. I remember it vividly, he looked so nervous before taking it, I was certain he would miss. I watched it in a pub and the whole place went absolutly mental, I've never seen anything like it.

At club level Wiltord scoring the championship clinching goal for Arsenal at Old Trafford in 2002 ( I think) was amazing. I'll never forget it.

I have no trouble admitting that Arsenal have been more successful than spurs in recent years. But dont for one second act like this rivalry is like the Germany England rivalry where the hatred is only directed one way. The hatred between Spurs and Arsenal is mutual and im sure any Arsenal fan would have been as happy as i have been seeing the scum trophyless for the last four seasons if tottenham had lost in the league cup final this year, which we didnt.

P.S 5-1

Ask any Arsenal fan their opinion of any season we talk about Arsenal. However by contrast, Spurs' success is completely dependant on how Arsenal do.

Your most memorable moment could have easily been wining some silverware this season but as a typical spurs fan you choose to focus on Arsenal.

When will you lot stop wasting your energy on us and concentrate on your own bloody club? Believe me, us Arsenal fans have other things to think about.

So in the entire history of Tottenham Football Club, the most memorable thing is Arsenal losing the champions league final, sad.

I haven't been watching football very long, maybe 3 years or so, but for me it was Man United beating Roma 7-1 last year. Losing the first leg, then losing to Portsmouth the Saturday before, things looked kinda grim. Then to zoom back with a 7-1 thrashing over one of Italy's top sides was just unbelievable.

Come on now, dont say you dont care. You're trying to take a sublte little pop at Spurs and thinking that Arsenal is too big for the north london cup. There no doubt that Tottenham are a fallen star compared to Arsenal at the mo. But remember we had the better of you for almost 30 years before Wenger came in, and things certainly look on the up for us at this juncture in time.
