Hey Europe! I Don't Like Soccer, However.....

I've never been a soccer fan, but I'm very open minded when it comes to sports in general. I am willing to put my differences aside for the sake of sports.

Hypothetical question....If I were to visit Europe someday, and I wanted to give soccer a chance to prove me wrong, where should I go and who should I see play?

This sounds like a dumb question, but please keep in mind that I know next to nothing about soccer and I am willing to learn.

most important games were mentioned. depend on what you want to see? good games or good atmosphere. probably both.
italy: many games are not sold out. you could see half empty stadiums which is not cool.
england: arsenal plays the most beautiful football. the premier league is the place to be right now. fast paced and passionate football.
spain: barcelona or real madrid. both stadiums at around 100k capacity. best would be barca vs real.
germany: although technically not the best football, its definitely worth it. most stadiums are new and many have 50k+ capacity and are all sold out. better attendance than england or spain.many goals.
turkey, greece: crazy atmosphere at certain matches.

Preposterous. English football fans are known for being friendly, rational and civil.

I beg your pardon. If that's the case than I'll go there wearing cowboy boots, waving a HUGE American flag and wear a Tampa Bay Buccaneers shirt (maybe I know more about soccer than I think.)

As a non European, the best advice I can give is any derby would be great (two teams from the same city\region). Sure Barca-Madrid, ManU-Arsenal, Inter-Milan et al would be ideal, but you'll pay a pretty penny for it (not mentioning the current dollar).
