Who Are the Heat Picking Tonight?
I can't believe it but there's a real chance Riley is going to take O.J. Mayo. Passing on Beasley would be a HUGE mistake.
Who do you think they're going with?

If Miami doesn't draft and keep Beasley, I will stab someone.

idk, it seems like Riley knows he can get Boozer. If he knows he can get boozer next summer, I don't draft Beasley. Both are pure offensive players, and Beasley will never be a better rebounder or scorer than Boozer. Pick and rolls with Wade and Boozer would be fucking nasty. Utah also seems to favor Okur over boozer for the long term. Boozer will draw doubles, and leave the mid-range wide open for Wade running off screens. All they need is a point guard and small forward who are good 3 point shooters (might be forced to keep Ricky Davis), and they will be back in the playoffs.
The heat traded their 09 draft pick, but it is top 10 protected. They could easily be in the top 10 again this year if they trade Beasley or Mayo. That means next year they would be walking into the off-season with like 30 mil of expiring contracts, a top 10 pick, and about to have Carlos Boozer.

Ted Ginn Jr. all over again in South Florida. Pat better draft Beasley and keep him.

OMG, it's funny you say that. The Ginn comparison is coming up regularly down here with regards to passing on Beasley.
There may be rioting if they pass on that kid.
