What happened? (Falcons 4th down inc. pass with 1:02)

I watched up until that point. It was 4th down, Ryan threw an incomplete pass and the game should have been over so I stopped watching. I go to NFL.com and the game is over but the Falcons had an extra 3 points so im like WTF and look at the play-by-play and it said that play was reviewed and overturned.

How was that play was overturned? What was reviewed?

"2-10-NO 39 (1:02) (Shotgun) 2-M.Ryan pass incomplete deep right to 12-M.Jenkins (32-J.Greer). The Replay Assistant challenged the incomplete pass ruling, and the play was REVERSED. (Shotgun) 2-M.Ryan pass deep right to 12-M.Jenkins pushed ob at NO 23 for 16 yards (32-J.Greer). Pass 16, Catch 0"

How the fuck was that ruling reversed? No one caught the ball....

best guess would be that the refs ruled the pass incomplete but upon further review the receiver had control of the ball/both feet in bounds or the ball didnt touch the ground.

i must have been outside smoking when this happened but thats all i can think of

Well thats why im asking because the pass was incomplete and the ball hit the ground with no one around it. I would understand if it was a questionable catch or if it was ruled out of bounds at first but no one was near the ball when it hit the ground from what I remember....

I think your referring to the play were jenkins caught it with his feet in bounds but it was ruled incomplete cuz he was pushed out. They reviewed it and it turned out he was in with possession of the ball before being pushed out.
