** SPORTS BAR MMA Discussion. **
This is the secret Sports Bar MMA thread I wanted to create. Sure the title may not fool a mod from snagging this thread and throwing it out into the black hole we all know as "The Heavy Weights" forum. But seeing as we have a pretty steady group of regulars hear and most seem intelligent enough to hold good conversations with, I would much rather discuss some MMA with this group instead of the entire world that is logged into the HWs.
THAT SAID, lets see how long this lasts. Have a heart Mod's. If you allow this thread to stay in the SB then maybe I can just rename it the Sports Bar MMA Thread and we can leave it to one thread in here for MMA stuff.
So guys
Thoughts on the latest UFC event?

I hated it. I can't stand Rashaad, and hate Mir. As far as Rampage goes, I think it's funny that when no name guys in the UFC get in trouble they get the boot, but Rampage literally goes on a rampage and he gets a end of the year fight with Wanyd.

Well I figured the title would capture the curious...or people just going...WTF?
It was disappointing...No one I wanted to win won.
Big Nog looked awful out there...I think the fight could have had a bit more time before the ref called it, but I don't think it would have changed the outcome. Mir is smart, he knew he had him in the stand up game and wouldn't risk making it a ground game.
Which was also disappointing because I was really hoping to see a ground war with those two.
