Did you watch the world cup? Spain was a better team when Cesc ran the show
Iniesta fucks about on the wings mostly in Barca (or did atleast as a teenager), like Messi, a central midfielder has far greater responsibilities, cesc managed those while still a teenager, ffs he looked like he was prepubescent even and still managed challanging dudes like Keane. Cesc isn't flashy, he doesn't have to be, so maybe for an uneducated viewer he isn't as good as Messi or Iniesta but people who know football realises waht a great midfielder he is!
Of course Messi shined, who the fuck would care about him when you have Ronnie, Eto'o and Deco to worry about? he has taken the leap forward now thou don't get me wrong
Cesc will return to Barca after 8-9 years but in those years Arsenal will have some silverware, and it is the club of his childhood I would not feel bad, he will get Arsenal a hefty transfer sum aswell

An uneducated viewer is one of the funniest things I've ever heard said about me when you rate Ibrahimovic, truly laughable.
And you're boasting about Fabregas's World Cup? You mean then one in which he started 2 games, the 1st being against Saudi Arabia with the rest of the reserves. And the 3rd being the game which knocked them out. Did he play well in the tournament? He did okay, made one nice assist.
Let's make one thing massively clear right now, you're an Arsenal fan. And you're a terribly biased one.
You think Fabregas is better than Messi? Wow that statement is just pathetic. The only reason you guys have Fabregas is because the Barcelone youth setup only cared about Messi, the guy is a far superior talent to Cesc.
And you're talking about Fabregas playing age 17 like it's an achievement. James Milner & Aaron Lennon both played at younger ages, are they better players? NO, because that has zero to do with anything.
Point blank nobody is paying over £120m or whatever the price quoted is for Fabregas, if you believe so then you need to check back into the real world. I just made the point that of course anybody would accept that & then I gave an example of two top players to replace him when somebody questioned me on it. Xavi & Iniesta for sure are on the same level as Fabregas, regardless what order you have them in they are all around the same ability at the moment. But as I stated Fabregas has the potential to be better than them both so I don't see what you're shouting about? Clearly you're just trying to force this view than Fabregas is the best player in the world down our throats, and well nobody is swallowing it. Maybe in 3 years he will at least be in the running, right now- no chance.
The guy is a quality player and is on his way to becoming one of the best centre mids in the world. Is he yet? Not in my eyes. Far too inconsistant this season, had periods off upto 1-2 months were he was putting in average performances. His passing ability is great, if he can provide the same attacking threat he did at the beginning of the year then he will reach the level where Arsenal fans are already placing him.

If you asked a casual football fan today if they know who Fabianski is, most of them won't have a clue either.
The guy has played about 8 or 9 times, and looked pretty average.

Let's be real though, for every good Wenger signing there is also a Francis Jeffers, a Reyes, a Rami Shabaan. And for every great youngster there is a fallen star such as Quincy Owusu, Lupoli, Pennant or Bentley.
Still Wenger is generally one of the better managers in the transfer department, I'm just pointing out he's not perfect. Some of his finds have been great i.e. Anelka, Toure, Eboue (as a right back) etc.

not a bad signing, but he isn't for first goalie position either, Don't have any major complaints about Almunia either really I jsut want a top world class goalie (or atleast one that cna develop into one)
I don't think Almunia has the same respect in the box like jens

We got Cesc because Barcelona was a disarray of politics, the resigning sports chief did a last fuck you in his final week at the club and didn't prolong cesc's contract (:
Wenger has spoken very highly of Messi, sayign that he would always had a place at Arsenal if he so liked, having moved at an early age he wasn't so keen thou
COuld Messi do the job Cesc does at CM? a far more important position then winger
And of course I rate Zlatan
When people like Van BAsten, Cappelo, Mancini and now Shcuster all want wanted him...
Wenger wanted him from an early age but being Zlatan Zlatan said that Zlatana doesn't do trials (:

RAmi Shabaan had a nasty injury, he was not a transfer failure
Wenger has done something that no other top manager has done thou, he is making a profit in the transfer market, without really trying to

Ajax might have somebody but their time has passed them,

Steven Gerrard.
And I hope you're not talking of all time or I'd be hear naming better centre midfielders all day long, centre midfielders who have won more than just 1 FA Cup.
You say Messi couldn't do Fabregas's job in the middle, well Fabregas's couldn't do his on the wing. David James couldn't do Rooney's job, and Rooney couldn't do John Terry's. This proves nothing. You have a strange fetish with Centre Midfielders also, for sure it is a vital position but so is everyone in their own right. You're not a better player purely because you play centre mid.
