I don't think Fowler would be a starter but if you need someone to nick a goal in the last ten minutes....

Adebayor misses almost as many easy chances as he puts in. Any team that pays that much for him is wasting their money.

Nasri, however is a good buy. I loved watching him when he was at Marseille and think he's suited to the English game.
Agreed, when you have quality players giving you the ball they make you look good, think how many goals a poacher like Van Nistellrooy could have gotten.

Also this thread appears to be only for the so called elite teams as no other club seems to be mentioned outside of the champions league ( i have no problem with that as my club is a family tradition) so why the fuck are you bringing spurs into the posts? 1961 i believe was the last time they won the title which goes to show how shite they actually are.
When the hell did i bring up spurs? You brought them up. You really are like a broken record.

Your anti spurs comments really are cutting me deep. I noticed that you made the excuse that you support Ipswich because of a family tradition. Does that mean to say that they are so poor if you got the chance to support a better team (I.e a team in the top flight) you would?

I'm not saying he is worth it but those are the figures I am hearing. Put yourself in Wenger's shoes. You have a striker, who's STILL under contract, that was effective for half a season and still scored the SAME number of goals as Torres. That's the same Torres who's the darling of EPL and Spain right now. Albeit, many of his goals were tap-ins. If Arsenal was able to pick up a dynamite striker, he'd go nuts there. It's as much the system and surrounding talent than anything else.

Word is that Barca is interested in Adebayor... they did have their proposal for Arshavin turned down. They'll be offing Eto'o and Ronaldinho sooner or later.

Not a chance! I would never support another club! Its kinda exciting supporting them because virtually every season in living memory there has been something to play for be it Relegation or Promotion. Ok there hasnt been enough promotions and too many relegations and near misses but ive seen some good young players pass through over the years.Darren Bent for example is someone i rate highly and i think his move to spurs wasnt exactly well thought through because of Keane and Berbatov but if he does move on to a team where he will be a first choice striker he is more than capable of scoring 20+ a season.

Berbatov to Man Utd by the way in todays Sun.

You deserve to be belittled! Football is all about geographical location, tradition etc not just jumping on the bandwagon of europes best teams! If everyone was the same as you the Premiership would consist of 4 Teams!

Why is it no foreign supporters claim to follow Blackburn,Middlesborough etc?

Libero the poster you know he is a Blackburn fan, I told you about my uncle the avid Burnely fan, he has been to Turt Moore probably around 30 times throuout the years

some Nottingham Forest FAns aswell since the 70s, especially because they beat a Swedish team that is disliked anywhere else but the south

It is a choice I made when I was very young but I have stuck by it, I can't really tell if my love for Arsenal has given me my love for attacking football or the other way around.

some people support the teams their fathers support, how is that for tradition, some people feel that Swedish teams have European counterparts

Like Hammarby has always been a team of dribblers - Barcelona
IF Gothenburg, a working class club in a port city - Liverpool

Then there is the tradition part with teams that have had major Swedish influences

Milan has a long history of support in Sweden because of GreNoLi I assume you know what that is?

and a number of othe players/clubs

And your geographical location is stupid, as I have mentioned before it was easier watching English football then Swedish for me growing up, the closest team growing up started sliding downwards in the leagues when I got into football, I have only managed a few cup games for them, and that was to check out the opposition

the acctually went from facing Inter and then 5 years later they were about to enter the amatuer leagues
