Paul Ince. No i think lampard would thrive in serie a with more time on the ball.

man utd, liverpool and arsenal arent interested in him cause they are rich high profile clubs that have enormous fan base all around the world

man city cant compete in champions league and dont have any world class players that fans relate to (well average fans atleast)
ronaldinho is still very marketable and i am sure man city would know how to use him

anyways
arsenal just put ultimatum to adebayor, either he accepts 100k€ per week or he can fuck off from the club

hleb, who is still in arsenal, is shitting on wenger saying he didnt know how to use him and instead of playing as a midfielder he had to play on wing which he hates
also said fabregass is cocky and selfish

everyone said arsenal would be a force when this team gets a little bit older and gains experience - yeah, problem with that is that everyone now wants to buy those young players (which arsenal created) and some of key players are happy to leave

if arsenal dont buy any high profile attacker this season they are fucked (van persie is prone to injuries and eduardo is out of shape) - hell, we need a high profile player on most positions

wenger needs to change its tactics - buying young players, training them and having to sell them as soon as they get any good is a failure
Comparing Ronaldinho To Beckham the most high profile footballer the world has ever seen is laughable! Did you ever see the flower girls video when Madrid played in Japan who were meant to hand them out to every Real player? All eleven smothered Beckham and left the other 10 who included Figo,Zidane,Carlos,Raul,Etc standing there empty handed laughing their heads off while a embarassed looking Beckham had to be rescued by security.

Anyway as for Arsenal there is no big problem there. When Henry left the predictions were that they would struggle to make the top 4 and look what happened! Hleb would be no great loss and Adebayor's Goals last season do not tell the true story of his talent as any half decent striker could score shitloads playing for that team.Eduardo was mainly used as a sub (a good one at that) and if Adebayor does leave then Wenger has £30 big ones to replace him with. Whatever happens Arsenal will be in the top 4 but in what position i have no idea.

Platt and Ince done pretty well but Serie A is played at such a slow place its not ideal for English footballers. I think Lampard would do pretty good and would score in double figures.

hleb, flamini, adebayor are out for arsenal
i dont see fabregass staying for more then one season

eboue is for shit, and arsenal has major injury problems (sagna, eduardo, van persie, etc)

so arsenal will be crippled during next season

arsenal needs to change its club policy - yes they are at the top every season, but trophies are what counts

season 2007/2008 was dissapointing - arsenal needs to ramp up its transfers

this young players stuff isnt going to work..they mature and decide they want more money, or they are dissapointed cause they lost all trophies and want to go to clubs with huge tradition, like barca, real or milan..

I read somewhere that arsenal themselves admitted they're a selling club - having to find a $50m surplus each year for the next 15 years or so to pay off the emirates stadium. Not sure how true this statement is though.

Your Arsenal posts really bother me. Clearly you are either very new or very fickle with regards to your support, or maybe it's plain ignorance I'm not sure.

Firstly the transfer window hasn't shut yet, so you have no idea who we may or may not sign or who may or may not leave. Also this media influenced supposed exodus from Arsenal so far stands at Flamini leaving. Who are these other stars to leave Arsenal through the years? More or less everyone Wenger has sold has been at the perfect time. And if we were to get £30 million for Adebayor then I'm not complaining.

If you had supported Arsenal for more than 10 minutes you would appreciate how succesful we have been over recent years. In this time we have been a top English club whilst spending little money and most importantly moving into a beautiful new stadium. Thereby moving the club forward in a huge way. There is a bigger picture than winning everything every year, we couldn't stay at Highbury and contend, we had to build a new stadium and this would obviously come at a cost. All this time and we have still resisted being taken over by foreign investors, something none of the other top 4 have done.

If you look at say Man City, Tottenham (sorry Spoiry!), Liverpool.....etc They have all spent a lot of money. Dramatically more than we have and yet we nearly always do a lot better than they do, and contend with 2 other major spenders in Man U and Chelsea, all whilst playing beautiful football I might add, what football fan wouldn't want to go to Emirates and watch us play?! We even sell out for midweek Carling Cup games! You should be grateful that we have the calibre of manager that we do, who has achieved what he has and turned our club into a force all the while maintaining stability. Ok so we don't have the prestige of Real Madrid or Barcelona, but what the fuck do we care about that? We are still self sufficent, have new and amazing training facilities, an incredible and modern stadium and last year finished 4 points off of the top even with a couple of high profile injuries. Wenger deals with our lack of funds admirably and constantly finds gems.

I understand that there may be some frustration but I would encourage patience and belief. I would guess that even Wenger finds the lack of money frustrating and maybe foreign investment is eventually inevitable, but in the mean time - In Arsene we trust.
