I heard Tottenham was going to buy a couple players with some heart. Is this true? Probably not.

And it's not like Wenger doesn't have money to spend. It's just against his personal philosophy to break the bank in transfer fees.

You make it sound like he is the best in the world, Fabregas is FAR from the finished article right now. I don't have to go any further than his own country and his own position to pull 2 players out of the hat in Xavi & Iniesta. Who yes Fabregas has the potential to surpass but hasn't done so yet. With that money you would easily be able to bring in players far better than him such as Kaka & Eto'o also. Wenger would be tempted by any offer over £30m but for sure he would only sell for silly money as he's spent 3 years building a team in Fabregas's image.

I agree. Alot of players who are good in the prem are massively overrated, which is mainly due to pundits such as Alan Hansen who have no knowledge of the game south of the channel sensationalising such players. Half of the match of the day pundits probably didnt even know who elano was until the first game of the season this year.

I also get the feeling David Villa will be playing in the premiership next season.

Dude, it’s Milan, of course they can afford him and I don’t think he’d cost 30 million either. Don’t forget that Drogba is about 30 years old now – I think they’d settle for 20 million, maybe less. I pray that Villa goes to Arsenal!

If you reject 120 million for any player, then you’re a bit of a fool. The problem in another club trying to get Fabregas, is his unwillingness to leave Arsenal. You can offer as much money as you want, but if the player isn’t interested, you’re wasting your time. Knowing Wenger, he’ll probably sell Fabregas for a huge amount of money and whatever club he ends up next, he’ll probably end up playing a lot worse than he did at Arsenal. Wenger knows when to sell a player.

|
Theres been talk of Berbatov leaving for about a year now. It’d probably take a huge amount to pry him away, but apparently, he wants to leave. Spurs have been linked to Eto’o but I don’t see any chance in hell of them getting him.

WTF did Iniesta do when Cesc took a first XI placer in the premier league at 17 years of age?
Cesc is one of the best central midfielders in the world, and he is far from his prime, it is scary how good he can become if he continus to develop
Did you watch the world cup? Spain was a better team when Cesc ran the show
Iniesta fucks about on the wings mostly in Barca (or did atleast as a teenager), like Messi, a central midfielder has far greater responsibilities, cesc managed those while still a teenager, ffs he looked like he was prepubescent even and still managed challanging dudes like Keane. Cesc isn't flashy, he doesn't have to be, so maybe for an uneducated viewer he isn't as good as Messi or Iniesta but people who know football realises waht a great midfielder he is!
Of course Messi shined, who the fuck would care about him when you have Ronnie, Eto'o and Deco to worry about? he has taken the leap forward now thou don't get me wrong
Cesc will return to Barca after 8-9 years but in those years Arsenal will have some silverware, and it is the club of his childhood I would not feel bad, he will get Arsenal a hefty transfer sum aswell
