I can see David Villa at Arsenal next season even if it does cost them £25 million. Transfers in most cases involving european players are paid over the course of the contract so if for say he signs for 4 years thats round about 6 1/4 million a season.I should imagine though he will be paid £4/5 million a year with a possible signing on fee.

Zarate will not go for £20 million! He will go for a high single figure fee.

His club paid £10M for him. They want £20M for him. He won't go for a single figure fee.

Mario Gomez looks good from what I've seen of him so far, not sure how he'd suit Arsenal though. Can't really see him and Adebayor being too effective.

They will not get no where near 20 million. What they state and what they will get are 2 entirely different matters.
