First I went left, he did too. Then I went right, and he did too. Then I went left again, and he went to buy a hot dog.

The guy has great technique so obviously he will have attracted interest at an early age, I remember seeing him back when he was playing in Sweden for Malmo and I though he was a great prospect. Again I don't give a damn about his statistics, Kezman's stats at PSV were far greater and he got duly exposed when it came to crunch time. Ibrahimovic is nothing more than a fairly good player. Not World Class. Not Top Class. I guarantee if he comes to the Premier League he will flop.

The distinctly average centre back who helped stop you guys from winning the FA Cup in 2001.

he isn't about scoring goals, you'll see that if you look at the compilation, almsot all his goals are great looking goals, not like Ruud tap ins
he has been one of the most important players in Ajax, Juve and Inter (the later being top ten clubs i nthe world at the given moment)
if so you are worldclass
For the last CL he was tied with Henry on which player defendrs feared facing the most, (Ronnie beat them by a smidgeon)
great players have flopped in the Prem, while excelling at CL level, world/euro evlel or in the other two top leagues, that doesn't mean that much, sure there are two PL teams in the CL finale this yea but there are several teams PL, La Liga and Serie A(plus Bayern) who could go all the way any given year

You mean Champions League 2006/07 where he scored an impressive ZERO goals? Defenders must have been terrified.
And I know his game is more than goals, hence me highlighting his technical ability. Against a poor defender he will look great, against a great defender he will look poor. That's just how it is.
And we probably have different views on what is world class, to me there is probably only about 7 or 8 world class strikers, if that. I don't throw that term around lightly, I know some people like to brand it on every player.

you msut be thinking about someone else
I am talking about ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVICH
Just the fact that I previously wrote
Quote:

He kept Crespo and Adriano out of the team in Inter, kept Del Piero out in Juve
|
the poll was done before the CL that year
Sweden has in the last 2 years began to play much more of their own game, Zlatan is a kye actor in that, he gets so much cover that others can shine
that is alos an indicator of a world class player, raising a mediocre team (that hasn't lost to your precious England in waht 30 years 8P

I'd harly refer to them as 'my precious' England, European Championships I'm following Germany lol.
But yeah anyway again agree to disagree cause we can keep dancing in circles here. I think we're probably gonna be agreeing to disagree a lot in the future..
Lower than 'douchebags' and I don't know if I can bring myself to watch the Champions League Final. I'll probably watch it back a couple of days later once it's sunk in. Who do you thinks taking it? My instinct tells me Chelsea but it's a close one.
