Yep, and is goal is to become the only man to win five. He was also a boxer for a number of years before doing WSM and is like a second or third degree blackbelt in Karate.

Correct. He placed third (at least I think it was third) in the 2004 WSM and then tested positive for a "performance-enhancing substance" and had to return the prize money. He came back with a vengeance though and won his third title in 2005 and then got the fourth in 2007 (Pfister bested him in 2006).

I incorperate strongman into my MMA training. Anvil lifts using only the horn, odd lifts (Zercher Deadlifts), log flipping, etc.

I didn't realize they actually tested for roids in those competitions.

I would be absolutely shocked if most of them don't. I keep a "don't ask, don't tell" approach with roids in strongman competitions, though, which is weird because it really pisses me off in MMA.

I'm fine with steroids in StrongMan, only because if these crazy dudes want to mortgage their health to lift objects and toss kegs then that is their stupidity and theirs only. In MMA you are using this muscle to bludgeon another person's skull.
