Running, heck almsot every endurance sport
I mean if you cannot fool around playing it in your driveway/backyard it just is a pain
Several of the sports measure the same things, I can understand the sense of accomplishment but why not use your talent for a sport that is fun to do, marathon runners probably have better genetics for endurance then anybody else so they would be miles ahead of anybody else if they played a ball sport, even thou they wouldn't dedicate as much time to endurance training, can anyone say acctual running is fun?

I've felt the same way for ages. To me, running is boring (and torturous). Lifting weights is also about as fun as watching paint dry. However, playing soccer is good times--I like trying to outrun others, anticipate passes and intercept them, give accurate passes, etc. Training MMA is also great for so many reasons, and back when I was kickboxing with a great trainer, I was more ripped than I would have ever been by lifting or running.
But obviously personal preference is a big thing here. I've also noticed that my less coordinated or athletically-inclined friends are more apt to lift weights and jog than play sports, so that may be a factor (not trying to piss off the lifters or joggers in here).
