So yeah, does anyone dislike the fact that the NHL made the switcheroo where home teams now wear their dark jerseys and road wear their white ones? It's one of those things that bothers me much more than it should. I just think it looks like ass and I don't understand why they did it. Was it a desperate move to resemble the NFL?

Yeah I am, because now whenever I go watch a home game it's always the same colours.

Visiting = white
Home = blue

I'm thinking it was indeed a move to resemble the NFL. I'm not a big hockey fans and when the change first happened I was watching a Devils games, and they had their whites on. The other team scored and the crowd went crazy.....confused the shit out of me for a while.

they did it so teams could utilize their alternate/third jerseys which is gay and stupid.

In the NFL, the home team has the choice of which jersey to wear, I didn't know the NHL was making teams do this.

The Cowboys always wear their whites (normally road unis) at home, and then when they go on the road they usually have to wear their whites too. That's why you almost never see them in the blue unis.

This is correct. In the NFL most home teams choose to wear dark jerseys, but it is not league mandated.
