Don't you think England have improved a lot though? I wouldn't count them out completely... they white washed a weakened NZL last year.

NZL are a force to be reckoned with if they can get their full strength team on the field. Their biggest problem is their lack of depth in the halves and with Roberts/Marshall out.. Leuluai and Hohaio doesn't cut it vs Australia.

A full str NZL team would have had Marshall and Roberts in the halves, Inu and Vatuvei on the wings and Kidwell playing.. and Lauititi, Hape, Meli maybe in there somewhere.

They have improved, but I don't think we could live with Australia for a second. If Leuluai and Hohaio are still 6/7 then I think England could possibly make it over them, but the Aussies will dominate as usual, which is a shame (for us)

Well, Gloucester's defence handed them the top spot opn the final day of the regular season. They've beaten Wasps and Bath back to back...Could they go all the way?

This thread dying after the last league games in the premiership is strangely ironic.

In other news, Gloucester signed Welsh centre Matthew Watkins. Apparently having one of the most intimidating set of backs in the premiership wasn't enough for them...

You can't help but wonder if they'll choke again at Twickers...especially as they will be playing Wasps or Bath. Wanna say Gloucester but can't help but think about them choking in the back of my head.

I think if anything, that proverbial ass rape last time around will be a positive rather than negative. They managed to stop from choking in the last two matches, when the heat was on for the home game againast the fourth place team...I think they'll edge it closely over Bath, much like last Saturday.

Although I'd prefer a Lamb 100% conversion rate off a Vainikolo hat-trick and two for Simpson-Daniel because he loves the tries.

Still, I'm easy.

Martin Johnson's made his picks for the England team to go and get literally ass-fucked by the All Blacks in June.

No surprises in Borthwick being named captain. The newbies will be:

Topsy Ojo; Danny Care; Jason Hobson; Dylan Hartley; David Paice and Nick Kennedy.

In shocking news for a Gloucester fan like myself, Lesley Vainikolo and Iain Balshaw are left out of the squad.
