that was some pussy shit imo, tampa should've emptied the sidelines. I'm all for destroying the kick returner....after he catches the ball. Thats a dangerous play, picture trying to field a fly ball in baseball and someone just takes you out while you have your head up. If he caught it, it would've been fair game

What a shit play. He just unloads on the guy when the ball isn't even close. He can redeem himself though and get fans forgiveness if he lands that hit on a defenseless Bill Bellicheck when the Panthers play the Patriots.

Seems to me that with so little time left in the 2nd, that personal foul yardage was insignificant. They should let teams have the right to take that yardage to start the next half or something.

It was a cheap shot for sure but am I the only one who doesn't think it was a brutal hit? I've seen much worse.

It was brutal, but only because he ran down with a full head of steam and blasted a guy who wasn't expecting it. But it wasn't as brutal as it could have been. The punt return teams appear to have lesser big hitters. If that was a LB unloading on Smith, it could have been much worse.

it wasn't that bad...just a cheap shot.

Those special teams guys are nuts...They don't hold back so I'm not buying the could have been worse if it wasn't special teams. It could have been worse if the dude wanted it to be.

No I agree it was a cheezy hit but I've seen worse did anyone see the two guys threw a punch when the guys helmet fell off in the JETS vs. BILLS game thats really lame and only 1 got kicked out of the game instead of both bet that 2nd guy gets hit up with a suspension
