here's .20 worth of free information.

Cael has basically retired as an active wrestler. he is concentrating all his effort into his head coaching gig at Iowa State.

Yea he's retired. Kinda sucks, but at the same time, not much else that man can do as a wrestler, might as well try the coaching thing.

Being a multiple gold medalist might be a goal.

I guess going four years undefeated in college, before going straight to freestyle where you win a silver in the worlds and gold in the Olympics gained him all he wanted from competition.

One thing I find very funny about Americans and how they regard sports in general. If you were to read Sherdog or Wikipedia you would get the idea that Sanderson is the best wrestler ever. While he certainly is one of the wrestling greats in his own right there are people that have achieved far more in international competition.

There have been discussions on this forum where posters claimed he was undefeated in international competition and how nobody ever scored on him...

Even worse I read on Wikipedia that Karelins nickname is Russian Dan Gamble, I won't even get into that...

Well, last time i checked the olympics counts as international competition and he did ok in that competition didn't he? I never said he was the greatest wrestler of all time, to tell you the truth i don't know enough about wrestling to say who is. But i do know, that Cael Sanderson, and Dan Gable are legends of the sport.
