I hear ya. I also agree that not having Savard at center will be a factor. If I was a leafs fan one thing i would be excited about would be watching Nazem Kadri, Schenn and Kessel hit their primes together...but i don't think it'll have the impact some leafs fans are hoping for THIS season.

as per the kessel trade, its all fine and dandy, but the kid will not put up the same numbers. first off hes out half the season this year or some shit like that. he is playing with a crappy team, and will have to deal with IMMENSE pressure. In my pool at work we have a goon category. Goons get 1/2 point for ever 2 pim, -1 point for ever goal though. I chose Cote just because he's on the roster a lot and he's always ready to go. Although I'm still wondering if I should switch to Carcillo.

I wanna say this is a rebuilding year for the Devils, but I guess I said the same thing about them last year and they turned out okay.

i don't know if i would consider this a rebuilding year, they didn't make many changes. the big rebuild will begin when they are free of rolston, elias, lengenbrunner, zubrus, pandalfo, white, etc.
