Comparing Parker/Stockton to Duncan/KG is ridiculous beyond comprehension. Sure, John Stockton has zero rings, but he is also the NBA's all-time leader in assists and steals by a HUGE margin... KG doesn't quite have these things going for him. In fact, as it has been mentioned previously, Duncan has higher averages of POINTS, REBOUNDS, BLOCKS, and FG %. I mean, the only possible argument you have as to why KG is better consists of Reggie Theus and a bunch of your pointless, non-fact based comments like "KG is a more prolific scorer", "KG is a better defender," "KG would beat Duncan one-on-one." It's pathetic.

Oh, and take a gander at their head-to-head playoff statistics. KG slightly outplayed TD one year(TD's second year in the league btw), TD slightly outplayed KG the other year... and Duncan's team won both times. But seeing as how KG was on "such a shitty team" as you like to point out, shouldn't his numbers have been better than Duncan's in both series? I mean, isn't that what happens when you play on such a shitty team? Hell, look at KG's numbers this season compared to when he played on Minnesota... Seriously, you have no argument.
The reason why Reggie Theus lost all credibility was because he said that KG is a better and greater leader than Tim Duncan. After seeing that, I was like "Theus is an idiot". You can argue many things but to say KG is a better leader than Duncan...that just boggles the mind.

KG has outplayed Duncan the past 5 years in head to head matchups in the regular season. Some games were pretty severe, and some were just by a small margin, but he hasn't failed to do so in quite some time.

KG has a lot of things going for him as well.

* Only player in NBA history to:

* average at least 20 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists per game for 6 consecutive seasons. (1999-2005)
* average at least 20 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 assists per game for 9 consecutive seasons. (1998-2007)
* reach at least 20,000 points, 11,000 rebounds, 4,000 assists, 1,200 steals, and 1,500 blocks in his playing career.

Seems like he is in good company...ALONE. KG played a lot less minutes than he is used to playing, and is on a team where he needs to do less to win. My argument pertains mostly to his years with Minnesota. If you want to be close minded like that, lets review the Wolves here for a second. They got rid of KG, and brought in a franchise big man in Al Jefferson, 2 potential great PG's in Jaric and Telfair and a decent scorer in McCants. It is a better team than KG had for quite some time on the Wolves, and look at their record this year. You think it is Ray Allen who is making that big of a change to the Celts? Ray Ray is a terrible defender, and you now have the best defensive team in the past decade, including the biggest turnaround in league history. Credit needs to be given.

The sad fact is, no matter how many rings Garnett gets, you would still say he isn't as good. I guess that's a double standard when arguing with idiots who put a mans career on how many rings he has. Let's give it up for Bill Russell, and best player ever.

Just to remind you, not once did I mention anything about one-on-one. I would never resort to that type of argument as it is clearly retarded. I referred to statistics during his tenure on the Wolves, especially recently. This burden on KG was caused by one of the worst GM's ever in McHale while Duncan was placed in arguably the greatest front office of this era in the Spurs.

Now again, so you idiots don't cry again, my personal opinion is that KG is a better player and more well rounded. If you take rings into account that highly as I know a lot of people do, then I can see your argument and would tend to agree, but even taking that into consideration, by no stretch of the imagination is Duncan A LEVEL above Garnett. You are talking about 2 hall of famers here, and two top 5 players at their position ever...

Learn how to argue, it makes it easier. Use quotes, use sources, and use logical premises. And again, if you'd like, I'll find at least 5 more real articles stating why Garnett is better than Duncan by reputable sources. But apparently that's almost as dumb as someone who acknowledges Tim Thomas' potential as "should have been the greatest to ever play the game". Go figure.

Chris Paul was simply amazing tonight. That was a SICK move he pulled on Bowen near the end of the game.

Hornets dominated Spurs tonight. CP3 was big: 17 pts and 13 assists. Man... I want Hornets to win this series.

I can't wait for Atl/Bos 7th game. Miracle will be great

I want Atl to pull the upset. I mean they're terrible on the road and chances are they'll probably lose but it be great to see another GS>Dallas.
