Look for the Wizards to either win against Cleveland or push them to 6 games. This will screw the Cavs over for the 2nd round and get them swept by boston.
The Wizards are the sleepers of the east, especially if they keep having Agent Zero come off the bench. The wizards are stacked, and they have the most underrated player in the league as their center.
Detroit could be pushed to 6 games against the 76ers. Phili has been playing great, but look for Sheed to exploit Dalembert's weak man-to-man defense in the post.
Boston with the easy sweep
Orlando v. Toronto doesn't matter because each team is terrible. Dwight Howard will probably carry his 3-point chucking team over overrated Bosh. Gotta love Rashard Lewis and the worst contract in the history of pro sports.
My picks are
Boston v. Atlanta
Detroit v. Phili
Orlando v. Toronto
Cleveland v. Washington
Boston v. Washington (6 games)
Detroit v. Orlando (in a sweep)
Detroit v. Washington (detroit's vets appreciate their long layover and beat the Wizards in 6)
Western conference standings are not completely decided yet, San Antonio, Phx, and Houston all can swap spots. As can Dallas and Denver. I will edit in my picks tonight.
Oh and Kobe is the MVP. Kobe can guard anyone at his position. Chris Paul gets taken advantage of by D-Will and Baron Davis. I wouldn't expect a Dallas fan to understand that though. Kobe should have won the MVP the past 2 seasons before this.
Any player who can take a starting lineup that includes Kwame Brown and Smush Parker into the playoffs deserves MVP. This year is the oh crap, we are sorry about the past two years, we went on a trend of giving MVP's to players who cannot lead their teams and play no defense.
