Kimmo Timonen likely out for the remainder of the playoffs with a blood clot. This has me seriously depressed.

Toronto hasn't been underachieving. Their team just fucking sucks.

I feel like I just got dumped. However its great to know that they found this. If he suffered more damage the clot could have been life threatening, and at a bare minimum it could have resulted in amputation of his toes.

Hope the boys really pull together and win this one for Kimmo

Pitts is going to win t his series now, with the Flyers without Timmonen. That was the worst possible player they lose. Terrible for them.

Detroit is looking excellent, again.

I'm embarassed to admitt I've never seen this guy play before. Any?
He was never impressive up until recently. Earlier in his career he would have been thought of as a nobody. Its actually pretty amazing how much he has picked up his game recently.

That said, I think he is overhyped. He will be a good player, but he is not worth the media attention.

Malkin, Heatley, Iginla... those are players you hype. Brunnstrom, not so much.

Serious edge to Pits. Still should be a hell of a series, I can't see the boys in orange going down without a fight. I call for Flyers in 7.

hahahaha

When you get a good prospect without having to give up a draft pick or any player, who won't make a mill next year, there's good reason to hype that.

Of course it's good that they caught this. The player's health before all else. but it is depressing from a fan's standpoint. He was the worst person we could have lost. This is still going to be a brutal and competitive series but I can't say it's 50-50 anymore. Distinctive edge Pens right now.
