How has Biron been close to THE goaltender of the playoffs? I know I haven't watched every single game, and statistics dont mean everything, but his sv% is .914, well below the other three goalies left in the playoffs. He has also let up at least 2 goals in every game and 4 goals 3 times.

Turco has been the goalie of the playoffs, hands down after the 4 OT game against SJ.

Turco is 3-1 in OT and has 4 games allowing less than 2 goals, two of which went into OT. He allowed 4 goals twice, both in the first 3 games of the playoffs. Even Fleury has 2 SO and 4 games allowing less than 2 goals with 1 game allowing 4 goals.

Gotta agree here, Biron has been good, but Turco has far and away been the best goalie in the play-offs this year.

Yeah. Touche. ^^ Turco has been great. I let that slip my mind. But for the record, Dallas is a much better defensive team. I would still say Biron > Fluery so far. Biron has made many game saveing saves this playoffs.

Yeah I did expect that, but I'm disapointed they didnt even give him a chance, even before signing a GM.

I'm on the Detroit wagon here. I'd like to see Zetterberg win.

Either Detroit or Dallas and I'll be somewhat happy.

Regrettably Detroit has history against them, the whole no European captain has ever lead a team to a Stanley Cup Championship before, but hey if any European is going to do it its going to be Nick Lidstrom . If Detroit does win I wanna see Osgood get either a lot of recognition or the Conn Smythe, cause outside of Franzen he has been the best player on the team, but unluckily for him he has the best puck control defense infront of him so most people probably think its the defense more than him.

Detroit>Pittsburgh in the Final and I'm a happy camper

So maybe a Penguins fan can fill me in.

Does Malkin play on the same line with Sidney? Or does Malkin play with Sykora which he did when Sidney was out and Sid plays with Hossa?

I cant wait for this series. Penguins/Flyers is going to be intense.

Malkin centres a line with Sykora and Malone. Crosby centres Hossa and Dupuis.

Rumours out of Toronto are that Dave Nonis is in talks with the Leafs and that they want him to GM the team for next season in preparation for Brian Burke to take over the following season with Nonis as an Assistant GM. Heck, we might see Alain Vigneault go that way too then.

I tell you one thing though, nothing would shit in the Canucks' ownership's yard more, than if Dave Nonis went to Toronto and turned the Leafs around.
