Please don't try to attack my knowledge of the sport when you are the one who brought the 20 goal scorer argument up. If you were trying to argue something more than the amount of 20 goal scorers then you should have said so, but you didn't so don't try to cop out of your argument now.
Also, take a look at the defensive stats for the playoffs. The Flyers are easily among the worst teams in the playoffs as far as defensive stats go, and they have given up more goals than any team except the canadiens in the playoffs.
Goals against average: Philly - 2.83 Pittsburgh - 1.89
Penalty killing: Philly - 77.2% Pittsburgh - 89.5%
Philly is also taking alot of penalties, which could really hurt them with the ability of Crosby and Malkin to draw them, and the ability of the Pens PP to score.
I don't know about anyone else, but I would think that these stats in the playoffs are a little more relevant than the amount of twenty goal scorers that these teams had in the regular season.
Philly might have a little more scoring depth than the Penguins, but they are porous on defense. Besides Philly has to be able to stop the big guns of the Penguins for that scoring depth to even matter.
