Vancouver - Luongo = Leafs

He said if they make the nets bigger.
And the leafs are far worse in every aspect than the Canucks. Defensively, in net, even on offense.

Mike Richards OR Jeff Carter will make a good captain/assistant.

Nah Carter isn't a good leader and tends to shy away alot of you put pressure on him. Not to mention most times that amazing wrister of his hits sweet fuck all. I'd be down with moving him this off season. I'd actually like to move him to Vancouver since they would likely pay large.

I'd LOVE Carter to be down here. I hope we send an offer sheet, cause Philly is pressed up against the cap, so they won't be able to match. Then we wouldn't have to give up anything.
Also, when Richards got injured, Carter was playing 24-28 minutes a game, and leading that team.

Watching a new Yzerman is just wishful thinking over here, but since I saw him in the World Juniors I've seen it in him. Richards is a pimp.
Is Richards still a RFA? He'd be worth giving up a few picks for....

Nothing against what he's done. I just look at him, and don't really like him. But I agree, he hasnt had much room to work with. It's still interesting to see what the Van. crew does this off-season. I think the team was growing well.

He is, but hes also signed for 12 years so by the time he hits FA he will be close to retiring as the greatest Flyer ever
