Plat??? Weird, at lest you never got blown up along with the OT- I need as many canadians as possible to talk about hockey with.

So what did you think of the decision to fire the Canuck's GM? Personlly I found it a little premature. I'd have given him another year.

I thought it was a knee jerk reaction. This was going to be the first summer that Nonis would've had the cap space to do something. I would've liked to have seen what he had planned.

Firing him at that time was the worst possible decision ever. We might have just fucked up that Brunnelstrom deal, and he's looking like he'll develop into a top forward. Fuck. Top 10 pick if he was eligible for next years draft. Stupid fucking move.

Also, there is no single 'best player' in the NHL. It's not Joey T, it's not Crosby, nor Ovechkin, nor the overlooked Lidstrom.

Every one of these players can change the game with a single shift, but it's not like one is way above another one. The San Jose fans will say Thorton, Pitts fans will say Crosby, and so on.

Mike Richards has been a captain on every team he plays on. Watching this kid blossom has been a real treat. Next season should see one hell of a Flyers team iced and with Smith leaving more then likely that means Mr. Richards should be getting his C.

Bob Clarke 2.0 FTW!

I didn't like Nonis much. Firing Burke was a bad call. But I would have gave him another year. Early call, but Vancouver is making a point I suppose, playoffs or nothing.

I'm really hoping they dont make the pads smaller or else Vancouver is really fucked because Luongo has stated countless times he will just walk if that happens.

Vancouver - Luongo = Leafs

Nonis never had the cap room to do anything. He brought Luongo, built up our young talent, and our defense. What was not to like about that?

He made a couple of very minor errors, like Chiounard, and not getting a top 6 forward, but he was pressed against the cap every year. Everybody makes little mistakes like that. Nothing you can do. Should have given him 1 more year.

And trust me, I'm just as pissed about not making the playoffs as anybody.
