nah im from Ottawa, Ontario Canada. I am a Philly nuthugger because the only people in sports that ever actually did ANYTHING for me played for that team. I used to not even really be into hockey much other then the video games but then I met John LeClair and decided I would really give it a try.

I like the Flyers because you can count on them EVERY year to put out a quality team, hell this year is our REBUILD year and we made it into the playoffs, not many teams can say they have done that. Philly drafts well year in and year out and they try to win every trade... most by a landslide, ie Zhitnik for Coburn.

Not to mention their style of play lends well to my style of enjoying hockey. I have always enjoyed the guys who go into the corners and battle for a puck much more then the superstars like Dats who can razzle and dazzle with the puck. I would much rather watch a team of Mike Richards and Scott Hartnell devistate your team with smart hard nose hockey than watch a team of Datsyuks deke the shit out of a team day in and day out. I like the blue colar hockey, I like the colours as orange and black are my two favorites, and most of all I like how the players go out of their way during the offseason to hook me up just for being a fan.

I have recieved personal mail from Mike Richards, I have recieved countless autographs, written thank you letters from Simon Gagne and autographed team pictures just for wishing the boys good luck every season. No other organization that I know of does this. If the city itself wasn't such a shithole I would likely go out and live in Philly because of this team and the way they are.

I like how you Capitalized EVERY but seemingly forget last season, where the Flyers finished with 56 points. I think it's save to say that last year was your rebuilding year. Signing Hartnell, Timonen and Briere isn't exactly rebuilding. Oh yeah, and 1989-94 (5 years) the Flyers didn't qualify for the playoffs.

I'm not hating, Philadelphia is more consistent then most teams, but they're not always good; no team is.
