The picture is all the more ironic considering what happened when they dropped the gloves straight up:



Darren McCarty is hardly en enforcer. He's talented enough that he's really just a solidified grinder who happens to be able to fight.

LOL! It's not like Richards is Colton Orr or Derek Boogard. Sid can handle himself against Mike.

This whiny bullshit from fans whenever someone touches Sid is getting out of hand. Ever watch Jarome Iginla play? Someone fucks with him he takes care of it himself. Heck, even Ilya Kovalchuk will drop the gloves and he's what Don Cherry considers a Russian diva.
