How can you call Zetterburg boring? For chrissake the man is a wizard with the puck. Detroit gets the last draft picks every year, but they still always manage to make the best out of it. Don't hate just because the Stars look like amateurs next to them.

PS I know my sig says Dallas, but I grew up in Detroit.

PPS. As long as Dallas is using Turco they have zero chance against the Wings in the future.

Detroit is quite boring, ive watched Detroit hockey since i popped outta the whom. Last year was horrible to watch, this year was a bit more exciting.. but i still found myself with the remote watching Flyers or Calgary game instead because they have a quite fun team to watch.

Keep in mind this is coming from a hardcore Wings fan, whos spent nearly 2 grand this year going to games.

REALLY? I find puck posession teams like the Wings VERY entertaining to watch. DIfferent strokes I guess.

Rumors are that both Timonen and Coburn will be in the lineup on Sunday.

How a person can be on blood thinners one week, and then participating in a contact sport like hockey the next makes no sense to me. I hope Timo doesn't die.

i like the physical aspect of the game alot more then most people..

I dont mind watching the Puck Possession style. Its more like i dislike the teams willingness to play physical throughout the regular season.

But like you said different strokes for different folks

Good example of a team caring about winning more then a players health.. 1 week of blood thinners on top of a rigorous 20 minutes of heart thumping action. Cant be good for you.. Philly really needs to re-think letting him play.. I've watched a player nearly die on the ice.. Jiri Fischer and it ended his career. Thats not something i want to watch again..

That Fischer thing was ridiculous. I've always been suspect about the team's doctors, esp. regarding concussions. I hope Timo's been cleared for this kind of activity by an independant doctor.

Also, he's not Nihlistic's favorite flyer, but Randy Jones deserves some real credit for stepping up in the absence of Coburn and Timonen over the past couple of games. He's been playing like 25:00 a night. He hasn't been Coburn or timo, but he has been solid. I am entirely comfortable with a kukkonen-Jones 3rd pairing next season.

I'd like to dump Hatch/Smith this offseason and replace them with Parent and a decent skating defenseman (Roszival or Liles).
