It was Dallas' best effort of the series, bar-none. Even though Detroit looked to be on auto-pilot for most of the game, it was a tight affair. Detroit had a goal disallowed that was terrible, I know I am biased but anyone that watched the game would agree, Holmstrom was outside the crease on the PP and Datsyuk scored the goal that was waved off immediately. Dallas took the lead late, and Detroit answered early in the third, but with a 5 on 3.5 PP (Cleary broke his stick) Modano scored in the slot, then late in the game Morrow scored to seal it.

Turco was first star of the game, and deserved it, he had his best game of the series but was shaky at times. I think if that first goal for Detroit is allowed the series is over, as it seemed the energy would have been zapped out of the building after that, but the dis-allowing of the goal followed by another two penalty kills gave Dallas a lot of energy.

Dallas caught the breaks you need to win, not only the disallowed goal but many very close missed opportunities by the Wings that were usually reserved for the Stars in the first three games. Overall a tight checking game, that will likely be overshadowed by the disallowing of the goal.

I've seen some bullshit calls in professional sports. But that game 4 reffing last nite sucked. The Stars were on power play for the whole first period and then the refs blow off two goals. That ref. must have come from the NBA. I wonder how much he had on that game. That was bullshit.

Can't say I disagree with this. All I know was last night with the calls I was getting flashbacks to the Anaheim series from last year with the goal called back because of Holmstrom supposedly being in the crease, and with Anaheim getting a goal from pushing Hasek into the net (like Datsyuk falling into Turco last night)

They usually stream the games on CBC.ca - Canadian News Sports Entertainment Kids Docs Radio TV, atleast I know they did for the regular season (Hockey Night in Canada) so I figure they do for the play-offs.

That game last night reallly pissed me off.

between the called off goal..
the lack of intensity we had..

the amount of potential scoring chances that were squabbled because of our lack of passion.. we were going through the motions, but not doing it with emotions, which killed us in the end
