The NBA's forgotten ones

Here is a tribute thread for some of the NBA greatist but forgotten players, feel free to add to this list and I will never forgot the talent and ability these guys once had

1.Anfernne Hardaway-He was the man, could shoot and drive the ball, this guy had it all,he could pass, score, shoot, play good defense basically very well rounded in evrey aspect.A horrible left knee injury would limit his ability and rob him of his gifts,I wont forget penny YouTube - Penny Timeline - A Bittersweet Look

Good call on Penny. Here's one of my all-time faves. One Mr. Larry Johnson. Man he could have been one of the greats.

The Forgotten One is Pistol Pete Maravich. They barely ever mention this guy and millions of NBA fans have no idea who this legend was. He was the Steve Nash at the F position. Watch this and let me know what you think.

I was a Dee Brown fan back in the day. He won the Slam Dunk contest his rookie year and didnt do anything else afterwards.

while pistol pete was one of the greatest if not the greatest ncaa basketball player ever. He wasn't as dominant in the pros. He was very good, he was a multiple time allstar but injuries sorta kept him from fulfilling his potential.

Pistol pete was good stats wise, but I think bill walton or lew alcindor take the cake for greatest NCAA player ever.

Pete is actually overrated. He was basically the Marbury or Arenas of his time. Great stats but was never a winner. His stats were inflated because he was on terrible teams.

Hakeem is definitely forgotten for how unbelievable he was. He is a top 10 player of all-time but got no attention because he was never surrounded with the talent Jordan was.

^ Agree about Hakeem, but I don't think many people forget Penny nor Larry Johnson.
