NBA Playoffs homefield advantage

Has anyone noticed how big of an advantage playing at home is right now in the semifinals? Out of 21 total games in the semifinals so far the home team has won 20 of them. Thats a 95% chance to win if you bet on a home team. I dont understand how home field is such a huge advantage, it didnt help rich franklin much.

There are many reasons why it matters in team sports. Fans help their home teams with cheers and by jeering the other team and what not. Being at home also adds comfort and it's more of an internal thing. Players know they have the fans behind them and they feel more comfortable knowing that missing a shot won't get jeers and what not. What's even more important is the ref situation which matters more in the NBA than anywhere else. Home teams seem to get many more fouls called for them than any other teams.

I just think players are more comfortable at home. It's a better atmosphere they have their fans and family instead of crazy fans being on the road.
