Messi vs Ronaldinho

Hey soccer fans (mostly brits and sotuhamericans i assume) have u seen yesterdays charity soccer game, played in Venezuela between Team Messi and Team Ronaldinho ?
Lol i did since i was bored as fuck i hope SOMEONE SOMEBODY here seen it too.
The field was wet as fuck, so all players had to pull a conservative game.. brazilians being more dominant and comfortable (beach soccer roots)
Anyway both GREAT players, just joy watching 'em play anywhere.. now im starting to believe Messi ios going to fill Maradonas shoes

Cheers

Messi won't fill Maradona's shoes but he should become the world's best player if his level keeps rising like that. The little guy is so explosive with the ball and in the area he's like gonorrhea. You may not know is there, but when it hits, you get fucked up.

I know Maradona is the greatest soccer player ever. The most gifted in terms of hability and heart.
Anyway i never bought into this media hype of Messi calling him the new Maradona.
BUT u gotta give La Pulga Messi credit. Hes amazing

I'm Brazilian

Messi is will be far better than Ronaldinho ever was. Ronaldinho is a great orchestrator and creator, but Messi is a nasty boy.

It sucks that in the last world cup they kept trying to give Ronaldo goals so he could break the record instead of letting Ronaldinho create with Robinho.

Nah man. In terms of hability they may be close..
But those goals besides being freaking similar! doesnt have the same weight in the soccer world.
Maradona did it first (1986). It was against England (both countries coming form a War 4 years earlier). Its mentioned as the best goal ever. Competitive as fuck game.
Maradona also scored a goal ilegally with his hand in that game > called The Hand Of God Goal. lol
GO MARADONA !

Yeah funny how both brazilian and argentinian soccer being among the best ever is so corrupt. Shady mofos pulling the strings.
