any playoff team has a chance, Nuck's are first in the NW division with their MVP injured, and now they have a sweet addition w/o giving any thing up.

You have to take into account that he's going to be coming back from a pretty bad injury.

Congrats you Nuckers. Sundin is real quality player, I never liked the Leafs, but I hope he goes out with a bang, he deserves it.

Bash Detroit, F-U. Your right, but lets not forget, we've never seen Loungo in playoffs. I'm excited, I'd just perfer he was in the east.

So do I, I hope he gets standing ovation.
Still kinda gay how he didnt just want to be traded last year to help us out more.
Sundin the man and After all he did for Toronto, i could never hate on him.

If I was a Toronto fan, I'd be pissed.
People may choose to disagree with me here, but I never really agreed with the notion that a city or franchise 'owes' anything to a player. I keep hearing "Sundin deserves to take his time, Sundin did so much for Toronto and the Leafs" etc. These are pro athletes who (in Sundin's case) get paid millions of dollars a year. The people of Toronto don't owe him anything.

Who did Mats Sundin ever beat? He is no Stanley Cup champ that's for sure

I don't see how the Canucks can't be a contender now with Sundin. Tied for first in the NW almost halfway through the season even without Louie for some time now, and now you add Sundin without taking anything away (other than maybe playing time for Taylor Pylon).
For the people saying they're still not contenders because and not in the SJ/DET class, does that mean that there's only like 4 contenders in the entire leauge? It's a huge day for 'Nucks fans IMO.

LOL! I was going to use the Taylor "Pylon" reference but I didn't think anyone else would get it. I REALLY hope Vigneult takes a good look at the roster and doesn't sit one of our better producing players in favour of Taylor Pyatt.
