Icon13 Lol at all the Patriot envy in here

I never realized how much people hate winners. The game is 60 minutes long. If you come out unprepared to play a full game, you should get 70 points scored on you. This ain't 1st grade couch pitch baseball. It's the N.F.L. They're paid professionals. If you get embarrassed it's your fault. Not the team kicking your ass.

I'm not even a Patriots fan, but this shit today was ridiculous. Especially that koscheck douche.

Envy? More like the return of all the bandwagon New England fans. He's once again the greatest quarterback (despite Peyton being more consistent over the season so far and Brees being more impressive this weekend) and they'll win the superbowl etc. etc.

Half the people who are suddenly defending the Patriots will disappear once they lose a few/leave the Play-offs. Slaughtering a poor team doesn't show anything yet they're the uncrowned champions again.

We'll see if they actually DO still have it when Brady comes up against a top defence. Hard to throw on a secondary that doesn't just stand there with its mouth wide open, especially when the blitz is on and in the back of your mind all you can think about is that whole season you had to sit out last time.

So you want me to arbitrarily talk about the Patriots when they aren't playing? People tend to talk about a team they like when they do something notable, i.e. destroying a pro football team.

Plus looking around here, the most of the banter is how the Patriots are "classless" (whatever that means), deserve to be cheap shotted and injured.

Patriots hate really is something else. Anyone who frequents the sherdog sports boards knows i'm a New England Sports fan....BUT, i do like to think of myself as a very fair New England fans. I give other teams their due, even when it's the yanks, steelers, etc.

That being said, people hating on the Pats is no different then some dumbass from Boston hating on the Yankees.

Brady ravaged the Titans.

I'm not a Patriots fan but you have to give props to the team. I wouldn't be surprised if they won the Super Bowl this year with him leading the squad.

I don't like the Patriots and don't care to say it. My point of yesterday had nothing to do with how many points the Pats scored. I could care less....the Titans should have had a little pride and put forth the effort to stop them. I was just saying being up that much with starters still in they deserve whatever happens.

Not me buddy.... and honestly, there are actually not that many Patriots supporters or apologists on Sherdog, so I'm not really sure what you or anyone else is talking about. In fact, there's more pathetic, ignorant, misplaced hatred of them than anything else. That's mostly because people like to bitch and whine.

As for the Patriots themselves? They were outplayed by the Broncos and Jets in both second halves... They outplayed the Bills the entire game and failed to execute in the red zone until the end of the game. They beat good teams in the Ravens and Falcons and smashed a totally discombobulated yet talented Titans team.

Their defense has been the exciting part for me. Clearly Belechick has once against managed to restock the unit with playmakers without having that one off year where everyone ages over night into grandfathers (see the in between year after they beat the Rams.)

Butler looks like a stud, as does McGowan and Merriweather. Combine that with the fact that Mayo is a beast and Guyton has also been tremendously impressive. Myron Prior and Brace have played well too. It's a young unit but highly athletic and over time it will gel into something more cohesive.

The offense has simply been rusty on account of Brady's poor throws in some pressure spots and also some receivers missing their reads from the line of scrimage. Give them time as well and they will click.

Brady played one series iin the second half. I think they should have kept Brady in longer, he is still rusty and needs all the playing time he can get.

Ok Pats lovers...tell me what your thoughts are today if Brady got hurt on that much needed 1 possession in the 2nd half.
