Oh and by the way, of Amare is allowed to stay at PF, it's going to be another year of Lebron not winning the MVP in 08-09

Player efficiency is a joke because it doesn't account for defense, creating plays or morale. Players with defense as good as Kobe's are not always put on the floor to rack up numbers. They get put in the game to protect big leads, leads the Cavs don't normally have.
Kobe doesn't always have to score. They don't always run plays for him that give him stats. Like Doc Rivers said when people talked about how low Kevin Garnetts numbers appeared "Kevin doesn't need to score and rebound for four quarters, because he beats you in three".
Efficiency means nothing. It's just another useless stat for people to jerk themselves off about.

Let me break this down you. If you play good defense, your opponent scores less, and plays worse, commits more tunrovers etc. correct? This is all found in statistics. While you won't see Bowen's ability on his steals and blocks, you will see it in how well the other players in the league play against him, again, another statistic you can find if you look it up

Lebron is a great player. He has tons of potential. However he is not on Kobe's level. Until Lebron James can win a championship, prove he can put up high quality numbers on a good team, make an all-NBA defense team, and improve his free throws it's not even a comparison that needs to be made.

Not a justification at all. And don't compare late game Shaq to late game LeBron even in terms of freethrows. Shaq is garbage all game, and his comment about making them when it counts is fiction.
LeBron does have a ton of potential, and as I said a thousand times, for his career he is in Kobe's shadow (not at the same age) but at this given moment, of course. This single year though, LeBron played better than Kobe.
Until LeBron can put up great numbers on a good team? Again, didn't you try to argue his supporting cast is good. Regardless, as I stated before which you failed to answer, what part of his numbers would go down on a better team? Kobe was given the opportunity to put up these numbers when he played with Parker, Walton and the rest of the scrubs minus Odom, and he failed. He wasn't near 30 8 7 2 1 with near 50% fg.

Lebron James has better stats and a better leader than Kobe, so I think he deserves the MVP award. I guess the sucess of the Lakers in the regular season is the main factor for Kobe to get the award. The Lakers look unstopable with the addition of Gasol. They will probably win the championship match if there are no injuries throughout the playoffs.

Come on. I'll agree if Amare goes somewhere besides Phoenix. They're on the downswing. They'll have a hard time making the playoffs next season.

Kobe is the MVP...that simple....he deserved it. He locked it down when he had that great game against the hornets at the end of the season.

Kobe averaged over 35 PPG, 5, 5, 2 and was ALL-NBA defense in 2006.
I would swap out 3 rebounds and 2 assists per game for ALL-NBA caliber defense and an 85 percent free throw percentage any day of the fucking week. Thats the most PPG scored in a quarter century.
Kobe was also only 1 assist and 1 rebound away from those numbers in 03 but he had, once again, ALL NBA caliber defense and an 85 percent free throw percentage.
Also, I am comparing Lebrons free throw shooting in the Wizards series to any of Shaqs years. Not just this year. It was horrible.

Since the trade for Shaq, Amare has been one of the best number producing player in the NBA.
The one thing holding him back his his defense. My grandmother could post up Amare.
